When I heard about the game Brick Force I knew I wanted to play it immediately. I saw that other youtubers (big names) were talking with them and so I figured I’d take a shot. So I fired off this tweet:

I was FLOORED. Firstly I never expected them to see it as they are gaining followers quickly. Secondly I figured if they did there would be no way they would help out little old me! I expected a “Well go register here for the closed beta” message at best. Infernum (the company distributing the game) did me one better. Not only did I receive a beta key but I received some for my Youtube community as well!
It’s awesome to see a game company GET social media. Mojang and others have proven that if you can get a solid community using your game and talking about it then you just may have something. I am very impressed with Infernum and how they are already handling their social media. Not only do they retweet pretty much everything anyone says about the game (which helps EVERYONE involved) but they are snappy at answering questions.
They also seem interested in ideas too! I received a tweet from them asking me what I thought about the game and what I thought could be improvements (They favorited my reply about having the block tool replace other blocks so I hope to see that *nudge nudge Infernum*) This attitude is refreshing to see in any company let alone a gaming company! I hope others will see it and take note!
